自衛隊のイラク派遣は着々と進んでいます。非戦闘地域にしか行けない法律を作っておきながら、
ゲリラ戦が続くイラクに自衛隊を送る。
大量破壊兵器の脅威を無くすために戦争を始めるとBushは言ってたけど、
パウエル国務長官でさえも、その主張に疑問符を示しだした。
このまま大量破壊兵器が見つからなければ、アメリカのしたことは他国への侵略以外の何ものでもない。
そんな戦争は国際法上許されないのでは？
法律違反が平気で行われる世界。21世紀は中世に先祖帰りの世紀なのかしら？
The Japanese defense forces are now ready to be fully dispatched.
But don't we have a law which allows JDF to be in the place where no battles take place?
Why is it possible under this law to send the troops to Iraq where guerrilla war continues without end?
Looking back, Bush started the Iraq war in the cause of eliminating the threat of WMD.
Nothing has been found so far, moreover Secretary Powell seems to pose a question on the existence of WMD.
If there is no WMD, what the US did is nothing but invasion, and such invasion cannot be legal in any international law.
The world of the 21st century is full of acts in violation of the law.Or have we returned to the Middle Ages?

あけましておめでとうございます。今年３月には平和を願う詩集を出版します。
このサイトに掲載されている詩も含めて、およそ30編の短歌と詩のアンソロジーとなる予定です。
ひとりの力では何もできないような気がしますが、ひとりでも多くの人を巻き込んでいくことで、
平和への流れをつくれたらいいなと思っています。
今年が少なくとも去年よりは良い年になりますように。
2004 has come. I am going to publish an anthology this coming March which contains about 30 tankas and poems in Japanese and English, including the ones published on this site.
One may not do much alone, but by getting others' helps, even only one's help, one may be able to create a current toward a peaceful world, I believe.
May this year be better than last year, at least!
