I dedicate this poem to all the innocent children who were killed under the name of "War on Terror."

The girl has just turned four years old
She has a dream
Of playing with a doll her sister treasures
The doll has blond ringlets
Sheeny in the sunshine
And eyes as blue as a clear sky
The red dress it is wearing
Is adorned with frills in tiers

"One day when I turn five years old,
I will ask my sister to let me hold the doll"
A dream of a little girl
"On my next birthday
I will comb the hair of the doll"

One day at dawn
An alert goes off and
Bombs fall down from the sky
The girl, the doll and her little dream
All have perished
All have gone

Save the Lebanese Civilians Petition

Here is another petition to save civilians.

I Need Your Help to Change the Chain of Violence to a Chain of Hope!

Please go to http://julywar.epetition.net and sign the Save the Lebanese Civilians Petition and forward this invitation to your friends.

Lebanese civilians have been under the constant attack of the state of Israel for several days. The State of Israel, in disregard to international law and the Geneva Convention, is launching a maritime and air siege targeting the entire population of the country. Innocent civilians are being collectively punished in Lebanon by the state of Israel in deliberate acts of terrorism as described in Article 33 of the Geneva Convention.

Call for U.S. Military
to Abide by International Law and Stop the Bloodshed in Iraq! This petition is endorsed by Ms. Naoko Takato and others, and this will be delivered to the White House at the end of July.

Ms. Takato is a Japanese young woman who has been working to help children in Iraq and was held hostage in Fallujah in 2004. You may recall her, since her news video was used in Michael Moore's film, "911 Fahrenheit."

As a hostage she had a very hard time in Iraq, and was severely bashed in Japan after the release, which I can't understand why. However, nothing could stop her from working for people in Iraq and she still continues many programs, such as helping street children and delivering water in Iraq.

Now, in Ramadi, Iraq, people are suffering from sever violence by U.S. troops. A staff of Ms. Takato's program was constantly sending e-mails http://iraqmail.blogspot.com/ from Ramadi to report the violence until the day his brother died because of a road-blockade, which prevented him from being treated in hospital; he died in an ambulance.

This tragedy made Ms. Takato take this action. Please read the petition and sign it http://www.iraq-hope.net/060625.htm

I need your help, my friend, to change the chain of violence into a chain of hope.
