Seiji TAKATO on Atomic Bomb & Black Rain

At the age of 4, Seiji TAKATO saw the blast of the atomic bomb from his home, some 9 km from the hypocenter of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
He was exposed to black rain containing radioactive substances.
He took part in the campaign to extend the government-relief zone (heavy black rain zone). In July 2021, TAKATO and 83 other plaintiffs won a class action suit, the Hiroshima Black Rain Trial, and were recognized as official hibakusha (atomic bomb victims).
